I think it’s endearing that the movies we all loved so much as children make us cry as adults. I probably haven’t seen Dumbo for 16 years, but it was one of my favorite Disney movies as a child- so much so that I was Dumbo for my third Halloween. This scene which probably seemed ordinary to me then brought me to tears tonight.
